The customer is a person who always since the first interaction wants to confirm whether the person who is interacting is "Genuine" or not, the test goes on and on, no matter how long he is associated with you., but with every interaction he/she wants to re-assure that he is interacting with the person who is "Genuine". Therefore it is important to not just be "Genuine" behaviour but also be "Genuinely Interested In Your Customer".
By being Professional, Systematic, Ethical and Genuinely Interested in your customer you can certainly become one of the successful Insurance Agents.
